Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Duties:
  • Design, code, and maintain applications using Java 17 Use Streams and Java capabilities to achieve business goals.
  • Working in Agile model with Development of API using Spring Boot with version 2.6.xon daily basis.
  • Build and deploy microservices-based solutions where we have three services which interact with each other for our business requirements.
  • Create and manage Docker images for Java applications, ensuring consistent builds and deployments across environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor Java-based applications on Kubernetes clusters, utilizing tools like Helm for configuration and deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions, for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions using DataDog for proactive system health checks and troubleshooting.
  • Write unit and integration tests for Java applications, ensuring code reliability, and debug issues in containerized deployments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and product teams, to deliver robust and reliable software solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation confluence pages for deployment processes, and system architecture to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing for proactive system health checks and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in Kubernetes clusters and Dockerized environments to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.

Requirement: Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related fields, plus five years of experience in a related occupation. Travel/relocation required as jobs will be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
