As a part of this role, you will help scientists science, and build AI products from 0 to 1 that actually launch. As a part of this role, you will be someone who sees themselves as a product engineer, someone who wants to sit close to the user and close the feedback, and build great products through working with people and collaborating.

As a part of Google Labs, you will be focused on incubating early-stage efforts in direct support of Google's core products and mission. You will help Google discover and create new, cutting-edge AI products, and to do this, you will focus on small teams that take a product driven approach to creating those "next things".

  • Collaborate with research teams, as well as cross-functional partners (Product Management, User Experience, Technical Program Management (PM, UX, TPM) across and outside of Labs.
  • Contribute to and drive parts of the overall product and engineering roadmap.
  • Develop functional product features with full-stack development though back-end only work is fine as well.
  • Build deep understanding of language and multi-modal technologies and approach to applying them in the product's context.
  • Prototype AI solutions for new product features, and support landing them in production.
