About the roleAs a Senior Software Engineer on Roku's streaming applications team, you will be a key contributor responsible for architecting, designing, and building high-impact streaming experiences across multiple connected TV platforms. For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $246,500 - $486,100 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. We're excited if you have- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles with proficiency in modern web frameworks (React/Redux, Solid JS, Flutter, Cordova) and expert-level programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Proven track record in architecting, building, and shipping engaging consumer applications at scale
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Experience with media frameworks and streaming protocols, including HLS and MPEG-DASH, DRM, and media playback on HTML5, iOS, and Android platforms; familiarity with MSE/EME, ExoPlayer, Shaka Player, or Dash.js
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Experience in connected TV environments with an understanding of the unique technical constraints and requirements of this space
