Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Software Engineer to support a high-impact defense mission as part of a multi-disciplinary software development team. The position involves designing, developing, and integrating embedded software in C++ and Java for real-time applications in a fast-paced, agile engineering environment.
This opportunity is ideal for engineers passionate about developing and integrating mission-critical systems with real-world impact.
Note: This is a full-time onsite role. Telework and hybrid options are not available.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in both C++ and Java
- Hands-on embedded systems development experience
- Familiarity with software integration practices
- Missile defense or related domain knowledge
- Active DoD Secret clearance (Final adjudicated)
Desired Skills- Degree in Software Engineering or related field
- Experience with SysUML and systems modeling
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Prior use of Atlassian toolchain (Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.)
- Security+ Certification
- Top Secret clearance (in-scope) preferred
