The Role: This Software Engineer will support CADS and related customer/account domain work for critical Schwab integration and future-state migration efforts. Added US coverage will reduce delivery and knowledge concentration risk while supporting customer data, account lifecycle, legal entity, accreditation, KYC, and identity integration needs. The ideal candidate is collaborative, delivery-oriented, and comfortable working across highly integrated financial systems
Location: This role requires 2-3 days a week in office in San Francisco, CA.Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs that support customer and account domain workflows.
- Support Schwab integration and future-state migration work across customer data, account models, identity, and related services.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations to clarify requirements and produce durable technical solutions.
- Build automated tests, participate in code reviews, and support production deployments.
- Create concise, articulate, and detailed technical documentation.
- Support healthy system operations and ensure high levels of availability are achieved.
Qualifications:- 3-5 years of software engineering experience for production systems.
- Experience with backend development using C#, .NET, Java, TypeScript, or similar.
- Experience building APIs and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
- Ability to understand domain workflows and translate requirements into maintainable software.
- Strong communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical partners.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)- Experience with authentication, customer/account systems, KYC/KYB, Okta, or identity integrations.
- Experience with event-driven systems, Kafka, Dapr, CQRS, event sourcing, or similar patterns.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, broker-dealer, or regulated environments.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or modern cloud-native architecture.
- Working knowledge of private markets
For residents of San Francisco, CA the annual salary range for this role is $168,000-$200,000 + annual bonus.. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
