Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Short Hills, New Jersey location.
Responsibilities:
• Design, modify, develop, and implement technology solutions.
• Build modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals.
• Participate in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices and collaborating effectively with your teammates.
• Design, modify, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Build modern, architecturally sound components, tools, and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals.
• Infuse quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability, and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities.
• Contribute insight from prior experiences when considering design specifications, considering the goals of the consumer-facing product.
• Participate in code and design reviews with teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or closely related position.
Must have at least 2 years of experience with:
• Utilizing Atlassian, Jira, Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo and Bitbucket to track tasks and code repositories, and document requirements;
• Utilizing Git, GitHub and Gitlab for code version control and maintaining code repositories;
• Programming in Java, JavaScript, React, Node JS, C++, Python, and PHP to develop applications and update existing features;
• Accessing databases and systems, including MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB to store application data;
• Utilizing AWS S3, AWS EC2, AWS to store data in the cloud;
• Utilizing OpenShift, Jenkins, and Datadog to monitor and improve performance of applications;
• Utilizing Docker and Kubernetes to deploy applications and scale with active users;
• Utilizing Hive, Python, Spark to visualize and analyze data for application improvement;
• Leveraging Agile methodology to achieve tasks in a team; and
• Programming in Linux and Bash environments to develop applications, run programs and scripts, configure hardware, and troubleshoot problems.
Remote work permitted 1 day per week.
Worksite: 101 John F Kennedy Pkwy., Short Hills, NJ 07078 United States, 40 hrs/wk. Salary Range: $137,717- $159,000/year. EO employer.
