Overview
We are looking for a skilled
DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure while driving automation, scalability, reliability, and security across our technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodeBuild, or similar platforms.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and other automation tools.
- Configure, administer, and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerized workloads using Docker.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, logging solutions, and observability platforms such as New Relic.
- Improve system scalability, availability, fault tolerance, and overall reliability.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including IAM, VPC design, network security, firewalls, and secrets management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and production environment issues.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate software delivery.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to design and implement cloud-ready architectures aligned with DevOps and SRE best practices.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous platform improvements.
Required Qualification
- 4-8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, Load Balancers, and CloudWatch.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture principles.
- Experience troubleshooting production systems and supporting high-availability environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of GitOps practices and deployment strategies such as Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer are a plus.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.

The candidate should be comfortable working closely with development teams and driving continuous improvements across the software delivery lifecycle
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$73,150 to $174,000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
