Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Architect with deep hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot to lead the architecture and delivery of complex enterprise systems. The role requires strong expertise in AWS, event-driven architecture, Kafka, and healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7. The architect will lead multi-team technical initiatives, design cloud-native and event-driven microservices solutions, and support modern CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead enterprise architecture and delivery of complex, multi-team systems.
• Design and develop cloud-native solutions using AWS or Azure with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Design and implement event-driven microservices architectures using AWS and messaging technologies.
• Develop enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement integrations using appropriate enterprise integration patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to define scalable architecture and technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of deep hands-on Java and Spring development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native solution design.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and complex multi-team system delivery.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.
Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare domain experience, including HL7 and FHIR.
• Experience building healthcare or public health data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with QA automation.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, SQS, or Kinesis.
• Experience with containerized or serverless architectures.
• Exposure to NoSQL or large-scale data platforms such as Databricks.
