What is Needed to Succeed!- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience delivering scalable, production-grade systems.
- Strong command of software design patterns and enterprise-grade system design, including experience architecting microservices and designing and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Experience designing, tuning, and scaling data-intensive applications across relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Proficiency in modern server-side web technologies, including PHP, Node.js/TypeScript, and Java.
- Hands-on experience with AWS managed services, including RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, and container orchestration technologies.
- Ability to lead technical direction on complex projects, including defining architecture, reviewing code, and driving engineering decisions across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior and mid-level engineers, offer helpful mentorship, and elevate team-wide engineering quality.
- Strong multi-functional collaboration skills, able to partner with product, design, and other engineering teams to drive clarity, alignment, and delivery.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600In Washington, the pay range for this position is $190,200 - $275,400
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
