As a Software Developer on Suvoda's Product team, you'll design and build clinical trial software that directly supports mission-critical, time-sensitive patient interactions in life-sustaining studies across oncology, CNS, and rare disease. You'll work in agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and services, with a relentless focus on patient safety and the integrity of clinical study data. Here, your code doesn't just ship product-it helps sponsors, sites, and patients navigate some of the most complex, high-stakes trials in the world, while you grow your craft alongside experienced engineers in a modern, continuously improving SDLC.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and support clinical trial software with emphasis on patient safety and integrity of clinical study data
- Review product requirements and verify that all requirements can be implemented
- Assist with the creation of technical design and implementation documentation
- Design and code software applications and fix defects
- Provide unit testing coverage for delivered code
- Work with others to ensure timely delivery of high-quality code
- Manage software deployment into all environments and complete all required documentation
- Assist support team with troubleshooting and resolution of production issues
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in software development/software engineering
- Deep, hands-on Python experience in production systems
- Deep understanding of relational databases + cloud (AWS) and experience building and supporting services
- Django experience preferred
- Angular experience preferred
- Previous exposure to working with AI, with a curious attitude to experiment with Claude Code or something similar
- Ability to design, develop, and support software modules with medium to high complexity
- Excellent problem-solving skills and learning capability
- Excellent time management and organizational
- Strong production-support mindset for mission-critical payments
