We're seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and compliant web applications. Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure and compliant web applications and supporting services using Node.js, Express, EJS, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, MongoDB.
  • Take ownership of projects and features, from inception to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, support teams and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Deliver clean, efficient, readable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
  • Responsibly leverage AI-assisted development tools to augment software development workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, including frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
  • Contribute to the engineering team's culture and practices.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience (6+ years) developing web applications with proficiency in back end technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / Typescript, HTML/CSS, and responsive development.
  • Strong knowledge, understanding and experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience designing and building developer-facing front-end integration libraries, or SDKs would be a strong asset.
  • Experience developing on the front-end would be an asset.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with templating engines or templated web frameworks such as EJS.
  • Expertise in writing automated tests.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues across multiple layers of the application stack.
  • Love for problem solving with an innate sense of curiosity.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow and improve with your team.
  • Passionate about code quality with a thorough understanding of software development concepts that promote readability, maintainability, and testability.
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Desire to be challenged, take ownership of projects and see them through to delivery.
  • General understanding of IT infrastructure and networking principles.
  • Willingness to provide Tier 3 support as needed, resolving escalated customer issues.
