Senior Social Media Project Manager & Producer- Hybrid

The Job:
As the Senior Social Media Project Manager & Producer you’ll get to lead the management, execution, and delivery of social media creative work across multiple brands within an in-house agency environment. This hybrid role is exclusively focused on social media and is responsible for managing projects from intake through final delivery, ensuring work is strategically scoped, properly resourced, completed on time and on budget, and executed with a high level of quality.
This role partners closely with social strategy, content creators, editors, and cross-functional creative, product, and brand teams to bring social content to life across channels and campaigns. In addition to leading project workflows, timelines, and stakeholder alignment, this person will also support the production side of social content creation, including product intake, shoot planning, shoot-day coordination, and related in-studio needs.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing social content workflows and production processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They are highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, keep teams aligned, and move work efficiently from concept to delivery.
Because this role includes hands-on production support, there is a strong preference for candidates located near the Towson Studio and available to work onsite as needed.
You’ll get to:
- Lead end-to-end project management for social media creative projects across multiple brands.
- Own projects from intake and scoping through development, review, production, post-production, and final delivery.
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, workbacks, status reporting, and key milestones for social initiatives.
- Partner closely with social strategy, content creators, editors, creative, product, and brand teams to align on objectives, scope, timing, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure social projects move efficiently and meet business, brand, and channel needs.
- Support social content production, including product intake, shoot planning, shoot-day coordination, and related logistics.
- Help manage in-house social shoots and other production needs tied to content creation.
- Keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, dependencies, approvals, and deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
- Monitor project health and proactively manage risks related to scope, timing, resources, and budgets.
- Lead status meetings and communicate updates, changes, and next steps with clarity and accountability.
- Manage change requests and resolve issues quickly to keep work moving forward.
- Ensure deliverables meet brief requirements, brand standards, platform best practices, and channel-specific needs.
- Partner with resourcing and operations teams to identify staffing needs and support workload planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, visibility, and team effectiveness across social workflows.

- 6–8+ years of project management and/or production experience in an ad agency, in-house agency, or creative marketing environment
- Strong experience managing social media creative workflows from intake through delivery
- Deep understanding of organic social content development, production, and post-production processes
- Experience partnering with social strategists, content creators, editors, and cross-functional brand and product teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple brands, stakeholders, and concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience building and managing timelines, scopes, estimates, budgets, and resource plans
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks, adapt quickly, and maintain momentum across multiple projects
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality execution
- Experience supporting or producing photo shoots, video shoots, and other social content production
- Working knowledge of tools is preferred, but not required
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment with onsite presence as needed for production support
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Workfront or similar platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard business tools
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field preferred

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00
This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
