Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field; professional designation preferred or in progress.
• 6+ years of related experience, preferably in a plant environment.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS in a business context.
• Experience with large ERP systems, especially SAP or Oracle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data tools like Power Query.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and operations accounting support for plant functions.
• Oversee month-end procedures, including journal entries and financial analysis.
• Become a subject matter expert on accounting processes related to complex agreements.
• Enhance and complete month-end close processes.
• Engage in policy alignment and implementation initiatives.
• Handle cost accounting for raw materials and finished products.
• Implement necessary internal controls and audit responses.
