Full Job Description
A key responsibility for this role is delivering strong project execution by leading cross-functional teams (i.e., Marketing, Sales, Engineering, R&D, Human insights, Finance, Supply Chain and others as needed). Leads projects from initiation (charter) through SOS. Champion of the FLIGHT Stage gate process, sensing and responding to changes and driving the project path to the highest value for the business. Pushes leadership teams to make key decisions timely. This position will also lead the development and deployment of end-to-end BU supply chain strategy, driving implementation through projects & initiatives which enable execution excellence and deliver on Litter BU objectives.

In this role, you will:

Supply Chain Strategy:
  • Lead the ongoing development and deployment of BU supply chain strategy to deliver on business requirements for competitiveness, growth, innovation, and cost savings through supply chains that provide the optimal balance of responsiveness, agility, resilience, cost, and sustainability.


Innovation Supply Chain Development:
  • Represent end to end Supply Chain in innovation leadership forums, Discovery, and pre charter work to shape feasible, scalable, and value creating supply options.
  • Integrate supply strategy with innovation objectives so ideas are informed by capability, capacity, cost, service, timing, and risk considerations.
  • Develop supply options for new products, packaging, claims, formats, and commercial plans in partnership with functional subject matter experts.
  • Bring forward clear tradeoffs across speed, investment, complexity, margin, service, resilience, and long term network fit.
  • Synthesize inputs from Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Research and Development, and business teams.
  • Support the path from Discovery through charter by defining assumptions, constraints, dependencies, decision needs, and supply chain deliverables.
  • Strengthen innovation readiness by identifying capability gaps, resource needs, timing risks, and mitigation plans early in the process


Margin Transformation
  • Implement BU cost savings projects and pipeline while leading strategic margin improvement initiatives that support financial commitments.
  • Lead strategic cost savings projects from opportunity framing through execution, benefit validation, risk management, and handoff to owners.
  • Develop decision ready business cases that clarify value, investment, service impact, complexity, stakeholder needs, and implementation path.
  • Coordinate governance routines to review progress, remove barriers, confirm financial treatment, and align next actions across functions.
  • Use external benchmarks, internal performance data, and business priorities to identify additional margin expansion opportunities.


Ways of Working:
  • Advances services functional capability through shared learning (creation and/or delivery) in collaboration with the Project Management Community Of Practice (COP).
  • Designs and broadly implements best practice processes to ensure effective and efficient use of Supply Chain resources.
  • External Perspective: Sense and explore external supply chain benchmarks, capabilities, trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence for incorporation into supply chain strategy and development initiatives.
  • Acts as a role model to ensure effective team dynamics in order to deliver business priorities and determine /engage required resources.


What we look for:
  • BS/BA Degree (Supply Chain, Engineering or related technical degree), MBA (preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain management experience spanning more than one discipline (including Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, R&D, Logistics) with increasing responsibility and a demonstrated track record of success
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and fostering employee growth and development
  • Able to identify and develop strategic and tactical options to improve supply chain performance and capabilities.
  • Collaborate and influence others ranging from subordinates, to peers or senior executives to accomplish team objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to draw conclusions from complex data and information
  • Ability to simplify and communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms to all stakeholders
  • Excellent understanding of business financials and ability to articulate financial impacts to supply chain choices and risks
  • Flexibility manifesting in ability to manage and prioritize planned and unplanned work
  • Drive and commitment to deliver complex projects and initiatives on time, on budget, and with solutions that meet and exceed business requirements
  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end business and supply chain interdependencies
  • Curiosity that manifests in ongoing development and learning about external environment

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

-Zone A: $131,200 - $258,500

-Zone B: $120,300 - $237,000

-Zone C: $109,400 - $215,500

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox's incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
