Job SummarySeeking a
Senior ServiceNow ITOM & CMDB Developer with
8+ years of ServiceNow development experience and strong expertise in
ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable ServiceNow solutions while ensuring CMDB accuracy, platform stability, and automation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
- Design and enhance CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, CI relationships, and CMDB governance.
- Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Configure Service Catalog, Workflows, IntegrationHub, and automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and support upgrades and L2/L3 production incidents.
- Perform code reviews, manage Update Sets, and follow Agile/Scrum best practices.
- Create dashboards, reports, and technical documentation.
Required Skills- 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Servers.
- Experience with CMDB Health, IRE, CSDM, and data governance.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.
- Experience with Git/Source Control and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Certifications- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - CMDB and/or Discovery - Preferred
- ITIL Foundation - Preferred
