Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in both ServiceNow development and React application development. The ideal candidate will have experience using ServiceNow as a development platform to build custom applications and user experiences rather than only configuring out-of-the-box modules. The role requires strong full-stack fundamentals, experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems, and the ability to work independently within customized codebases to deliver production-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, UI Builder, Service Portal, Scoped Applications, and GlideRecord.
• Build custom React applications and user experiences within ServiceNow, including custom UI components, embedded applications, and Now Experience/UI Builder solutions.
• Develop full-stack solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design and consume REST APIs, JSON-based integrations, and web services.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and enterprise applications.
• Apply relational data modeling and software development best practices.
• Use version control systems to manage source code and development workflows.
• Analyze and navigate customized ServiceNow codebases and deliver production-quality solutions independently.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, UI Builder or Service Portal, Scoped Applications, and GlideRecord.
• Proven experience developing custom React applications within ServiceNow.
• Experience with custom UI components, embedded applications, or Now Experience/UI Builder.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development skills.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
• Experience with relational data modeling.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems.
• Experience with version control and modern software development practices.
• Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar and highly customized codebases.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ServiceNow Update Sets.
• Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience with instance-to-instance ServiceNow deployments.
• Exposure to Claude, ServiceNow AI including Now Assist and AI Agents, or Snowflake AI Cortex.
Certifications
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Nice to have.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Nice to have.
