*This position is contingent upon award of a government contract.*Position SummaryThe Senior SQL Server Database Administrator will administer and support SQL Server environments supporting SharePoint, enterprise business applications, reporting platforms, and cloud-hosted systems.
Responsibilities- Administer SQL Server clustered and standalone environments.
- Configure backups, recovery, failover clustering, and disaster recovery.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
- Support application deployments and database releases.
- Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
- Manage SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS environments.
- Monitor database health and security.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 5+ years SQL Server DBA experience.
- Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, Windows Server environments, SQL clustering and failover, backup/recovery operations, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Strong T-SQL development experience.
- Database performance tuning expertise.
Preferred Qualifications- Microsoft SQL certifications.
- Azure SQL experience.
- MySQL administration experience.
