Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in security engineering with a focus on detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in maintaining large-scale distributed systems and hands-on expertise in Windows, MacOS or Linux environments.
• Familiarity with security tools such as Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong investigative skills to identify the root causes of security threats and challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team to solve complex security issues.
• Openness to receiving feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Availability for on-call rotations to ensure system security and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Build security-focused technical solutions with a focus on code quality and performance.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and manage their resolution.
• Collaborate with platform teams in an agile work environment to enhance security measures.
• Drive technical solutions for detection engineering and incident response.
• Help scale and build a world-class Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Engage in threat intelligence activities to strengthen overall security posture.
