Role/Responsibilities:The Sr Prin Systems Security Engineer will:
- Lead the technical team that will support integration of new missions into the baseline, planning system upgrades, resolving issues and adding new capabilities to the infrastructure.
- Primary interface with the Cyber Security team with regard to submitting network packages for Authority To Operate accreditations
- Use standard requirements definition processes for new and/or expanded projects
- Identify and manage risks on new and existing projects
- Conduct trades studies on new technologies for ground system architecture
- Create and update wiring diagrams, flow charts, and other documentation
- Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for ground system issues
- Use test equipment such as Oscilloscope or Spectrum Analyzer
- Assist RF Technical Team w/upgrades and troubleshooting of large aperture antennas
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field, and 15 years of experience OR 20 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with satellite command and control systems. Satellite/spacecraft ground systems knowledge including RF, radio frequency, digital signal, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with cryptographic equipment and networks i.e. KG7, KG17, KG777
- Use test equipment such as Oscilloscope or Spectrum Analyzer
Security Clearance:- Current Active Secret clearance mandatory. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
