As a Senior Security Consultant, you'll lead complex security projects, guide multidisciplinary teams, and help shape innovative physical security solutions from concept through implementation. You'll combine technical expertise, client leadership, and business development skills to deliver impactful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Your Impact
  • Lead and mentor security consulting teams, guiding the design and delivery of integrated security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, duress, real-time locating, and networked security technologies.
  • Drive security projects from initial planning through closeout, delivering studies, concept designs, detailed designs, tender support, construction administration, and project management services.
  • Conduct physical security audits, assessments, and evaluations to help clients identify risks and improve security resilience.
  • Develop high-quality technical reports, specifications, proposals, presentations, and client deliverables that support successful project outcomes.
  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities, supporting pursuits, and preparing winning proposals.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagements, and presentations that support project success and strengthen client partnerships.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and practical security solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.
  • Champion a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing by ensuring all work is performed in accordance with WSP policies and procedures.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 7+ years of experience in security consulting or a related field with transferable expertise.
  • Current BC Security Consultant Licence is required.
  • Demonstrated success managing large and complex security consulting projects.
  • Proven experience supporting business development initiatives, including proposal and bid preparation.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, contracts, commercial requirements, and project delivery practices.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 Security Clearance and work within secure environments.
  • Experience conducting Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs), physical security assessments, or security risk evaluations is considered an asset.
  • Professional credentials such as ASIS CPP or PSP, and familiarity with alternative delivery models (Alliance, DBFM, Design-Build, etc.) are considered strong assets.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project assignments and possession of a valid driver's licence.

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 to $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 to $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 to $124,900
