Qualifications

• Master's Degree (MS) with 2+ years of experience or a PhD in pharmaceutical science, chemistry, or chemical engineering.
• Proficient in solid-state characterization techniques like x-ray powder diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry.
• Familiar with infrared spectroscopy methods, including FTIR and NIR.
• Skilled in addressing Materials Science challenges involving large molecules and particle characterization.
• Experienced in amorphous solid dispersion strategies and solid form screening innovations.
• Strong grounding in physical, analytical, and organic chemistry principles.
• Effective organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written formats.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced solid-state characterization of large bRo5 molecules relevant to pharmaceuticals.
• Apply innovative crystallization techniques for recrystallizing bRo5 compounds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to manage crystallization and solid form screenings efficiently.
• Define screening and characterization strategies in partnership with Medicinal Chemistry and Biopharmaceutics teams.
• Tackle scientific challenges utilizing contemporary Materials Science techniques.
• Contribute to pioneering new scientific methods within the Materials Science department.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in the electronic laboratory notebook system.
