Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in meetings with clients and stakeholders

Full Job Description
As the Senior Scheduler for this one-of-a-kind project, it is essential that you possess excellent communication and team building skills along with reporting, management and proven leadership capabilities. You must have the ability to work independently, collaboratively, with full transparency, as required by the client/project. In addition, you must be knowledgeable and responsible for developing, reviewing, reporting and supervising construction schedules. Major Duties & Responsibilities Your duties and responsibilities may include, but not be limited to: • Integration of Program Master Schedule (various schedules exceeding 5,000 activities). • Review Master Schedule for interface milestones and coordination between schedules and performance against baseline schedule. • Monitor the development, updating and maintenance of schedules (if required). • Perform schedule reviews, prepare weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly schedule update analysis reports, investigate and analyze schedule impacts and recommend corrective to be taken in order to mitigate/avoid cost and schedule overruns. • Monitor, review and report to senior and executive management the schedule status of the program. • Represent company and/or project in meetings with owner, A/E representatives and other contractors as required. • Develop "what-if" schedule scenarios, mitigation schedules, look-ahead schedules, time impact analysis. • Identify schedule issues, variations, opportunities and corrective actions to mitigate potential delays to projects. • Prepare reports as needed and directed by management (Weekly Construction Reports, cash flows, histograms, earned value reports, performance evaluations, etc) Experience • Bachelor s degree (BA/BS) (engineering and/or construction management a plus) • 10 - 15+ years' experience in planning and scheduling / project controls / program controls; experience on multiple sides of the business (i.e., consultant, owner, owner rep, contract/architect, contractor, engineer) a plus • High Rise and Healthcare experience is highly preferred • Field experience preferred • BIM and Risk analysis knowledge a plus • OSHA- 30, DBIA, CCM, PMP, and PMI certifications preferred. • We encourage and support you in obtaining PE and other certifications. Qualities As the Sr. Scheduler, you must possess the following abilities: • Proficient using Primavera P6 and MS Project. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the preparation, development of resource loaded Design and Construction Schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM). • Relevant construction scheduling experience in planning, scheduling, expediting, maintaining and reporting the progress/status of work. • Solid, proven and verifiable record of career stability and scheduling success is a must. • Proficient in time impact analysis or similar scheduling technique used to assess and quantify the effects of an unplanned event, namely a change which increases the work scope, but can be used in other ways. • Ability to evaluate potential impacts to the schedule for acceleration or delay. • Proficient in earned value management technique for measuring project performance and progress in an objective manner. • Strong written and oral communications skills. • Understanding of construction and construction means and methods Salary: $150,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
