Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our Toronto office team working on a variety of large-scale infrastructure projects. The focus of this role is to lead the scheduling function for the project ensuring robust planning, monitoring, and reporting processes are in place to support project delivery.

The role operates within a contractor-facing environment, where all scheduled outputs are subject to review prior to onward submission to the client. The position requires a high level of stakeholder engagement, technical expertise, and leadership capability. The Lead Scheduler will manage a small team of schedulers and take ownership of the project schedule, providing critical insights to project leadership and supporting informed decision-making.

The opportunity
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and management of the integrated project schedule across multiple workstreams
  • Oversee and guide a team of schedulers, each responsible for defined working groups
  • Facilitate and lead schedule workshops for planning, coordination, and progress updates
  • Incorporate approved changes into the project schedule, ensuring alignment with scope and delivery strategy
  • Perform detailed critical path analysis and communicate impacts to project leadership
  • Develop "what-if" scenarios and recovery schedules to support mitigation strategies where required
  • Produce clear, concise, and high-quality schedule reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Interface regularly with the contractor team, ensuring schedules are aligned with delivery expectations and review processes
  • Support schedule integration with broader project controls functions, including cost and performance reporting, consistent with standard project controls practices
  • Comfortable in a client environment - the role would require 2/3 days per week at the project office

Toronto Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is $105,000 to $120,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note, hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
