Senior Salesforce Developer

Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer to design and deliver scalable, enterprise Salesforce solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with clients and CGI teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1.Participate in the full SDLC, from solution design through development, testing, and deployment
2. Design, build, and deliver Salesforce solutions using configuration, Flow, Apex, Lightning (LWC/Aura), Visualforce, and APIs
3. Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems
4. Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing Salesforce implementations
5. Work directly with clients, architects, consultants, and pre-sales teams to ensure delivery success
6. Contribute to estimates, timelines, and delivery planning
7. Coach and mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1. Strong Salesforce Platform development experience with Mulesoft/Marketing cloud/Finance services cloud.
2. Enterprise application development experience using Salesforce, Java, and/or Microsoft technologies
3. Solid SDLC experience, with Agile delivery preferred
4. Proven ability to deliver Salesforce solutions aligned to SFDC standards and best practices
5. Experience delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions
6. Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g. Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, Copado, GearSet)
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience
9. At least one Salesforce certification (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant)

Experience in at least 3 of the "Nice to Have" skills below

Nice to Have

Salesforce integrations (MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi)
AppExchange solutions (e.g. DocuSign, Conga, Skuid)
Salesforce CPQ or other CPQ platforms
Public cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP, Heroku)
UI development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience in Professional Services, Government, or Utilities
Exposure to other CRM platforms (e.g. MS Dynamics, Siebel)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 - $130,000. This role is a future vacancy.
