We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator Developer to support critical enterprise initiatives and maintain the effectiveness of Salesforce environments. This role requires a strategic professional who can understand business objectives, translate them into scalable solutions, and balance configuration with targeted development. The successful candidate will be comfortable evaluating existing solutions, improving vendor-delivered functionality, and partnering with stakeholders to support long-term application performance and usability.

Must Haves
  • Significant experience administering and developing within Salesforce environments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, application architecture, and scalable solution design.
  • Ability to translate business objectives and user needs into clear technical and functional requirements.
  • Experience managing Salesforce users, reports, dashboards, workflows, and related administrative functions.

  • Experience supporting integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including experience serving as a liaison between business users and technical development teams.
  • Experience with backlog management, requirements documentation, system audits, and Salesforce upgrade preparation.

What the Client Needs You to Do

You will serve as a key Salesforce technical resource, ensuring the platform remains reliable, intuitive, and aligned with evolving business priorities. You will work directly with users and development teams to identify needs, define solutions, prioritize enhancements, and deliver improvements that can be maintained over time.

The role calls for someone who can look beyond individual requests to understand the broader business problem. You will assess current functionality, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and recommend solutions that favor standard Salesforce capabilities and configuration over unnecessary customization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Salesforce environments, maintaining users, permissions, reports, dashboards, workflows, and routine platform functions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for end users experiencing system issues, requesting enhancements, or requiring administrative support.
  • Gather, analyze, and document requirements by working independently with business and user communities.
  • Evaluate incoming development requests, helping define scope, priorities, dependencies, and appropriate implementation approaches.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions while maximizing standard platform functionality.
  • Assess vendor-developed functionality and existing application components, identifying opportunities to improve usability, architecture, and maintainability.
  • Manage and monitor applications and integrations connected to Salesforce, coordinating resolution of issues and implementation changes.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming and prioritization sessions to maintain a clear pipeline of development and enhancement work.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and application development teams, ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly communicated.
  • Conduct recurring system audits to identify configuration issues, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Support Salesforce upgrades by reviewing current functionality, assessing potential impacts, and preparing environments for new releases.
  • Recommend improvements that promote consistency, scalability, intuitive user experiences, and alignment with broader enterprise objectives.
