Serving as the first-in-line point of support for sellers and sales teams, this role owns user support, system configuration, and documentation—resolving the majority of day-to-day questions and troubleshooting in real time. By absorbing high-volume support and owning escalations with clear accountability, the Sales Tools Administrator helps the Sales Tools and Productivity team to create a scalable support model to keep the business moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

System Integrity, Configuration & Governance

  • Own system integrity, configuration, and governance across Salesforce and all sales technology systems, ensuring configurations and records are always current
    • Partner with IT on all compliance reporting needs and cadence
    • Manage license counts and user permissions where required
  • Build automation in the test environment to validate proofs of concept for further development
  • Assist with release management
  • Perform proactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, and org health checks

User Support & Enablement

  • Serve as first-in-line support for sellers and sales teams, responding in real time with no guessing and no unnecessary escalations
  • Take on the majority of all incoming questions and troubleshooting
  • Manage all user support channels, including emails, Slack channels, tickets, and Chatter
  • Respond to all “How do I…” questions, and generate and maintain process documentation for all roles and user processes
  • Monitor and drive user adoption across Salesforce and sales technology systems

Intake, Triage & Continuous Improvement

  • Run office hours and manage intake triage and prioritization
  • Help manage feedback loops to inform future development
  • Gather requirements and feedback from users and stakeholders, and translate them into clear, actionable solutions
  • Own escalations with clear accountability, routing to Revenue Operations when needed
  • Reduce reactive support noise and improve response times for sellers

Data Governance & Quality

  • Assist Data Governance with data quality rules
  • Report on the success of duplicate removal and ongoing duplicate management
  • Document and report bugs across all sales technology systems

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a sales technology, sales operations, or systems support role
  • Salesforce Administrator certification, or equivalent hands-on Salesforce administration experience, preferred
  • Trailhead badges and superbadges demonstrating ongoing Salesforce skill development
  • Experience providing end-user support across multiple channels (e.g., tickets, chat, email)
  • Experience creating and maintaining process documentation and user-facing enablement materials
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including user management, permissions, and license management
  • Experience building automation within Salesforce (e.g., Flow, Agents) across test and production environments
  • Familiarity with sales technology tools and integrations across the sales tech stack
  • Experience with data quality and duplicate management practices
  • Proficiency with support and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, ticketing systems, Chatter)
