The PositionThe Senior Manager -Insights & Analytics is responsible for providing insights and analytics support for sales within the NNI business. The Senior Manager will function as a strategic partner to the Commercial lead and their leadership team who has responsibility over sales representatives. The Senior Manager will proactively identify critical business drivers / opportunities and develop recommendations to guide strategy. An ideal candidate for this role will have strong experience developing insights by analyzing various sources of information, a proven ability to partner with senior level executives, and a demonstrated ability to drive the development of strategic plans to drive business changes.
RelationshipsThe Senior Manager -Insights & Analytics reports to the Director - Field Insights. The senior manager interacts regularly with the Commercial Leads, Regional Business Directors, Marketing leadership, Sales Execution leadership and other key stakeholders. External relationships include consultant partners, data providers and information technology partners.
Essential Functions- Establish strategic business partner relationship with Commercial Lead and directors
- Perform analysis and develop insights based on various market dynamics, including PCP / endo behavior, Health System impact, market access influence and other market players
- Generate local market insights to inform commercial strategy, planned tactics and execution
- Partner with Commercial Lead, directors and Sales Execution to plan and execute key initiatives based on insights and recommendations
- Conduct deep dives on specific topics to find root causes, identify opportunities and define solutions
- Establish strong knowledge of local market levers and available tools to define recommendations applicable to defined business unit
- Provide strategic guidance to support existing brands and launch plans
Physical Requirements20-30% overnight travel required.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Preferred degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, finance, or business A Master's degree is preferred
- 7+ years insights and analytics experience preferred. 5+ years customer facing experience and/or or field operations experience preferred. Pharmaceutical analytics and/or consulting experience is strongly preferred
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, environment, with a focus on delivering high quality analytics, insights and reports Advanced analytics and data visualization skills are preferred - R, SAS, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
- Experience with pharmaceutical data, specifically Xponent, Xponent PlanTrak, LAAD, and Chargeback data is preferred
- Innate intellectual curiosity, demonstrated desire to take initiative and ability to think creatively to solve problems
- Project management skills
- Quantitative analysis skills
- Statistical programming experience preferred
The base compensation range for this position is $ 120,300 to $ 222,600. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
