Senior Sales Advisor - Aviation

Internal Role Title: Senior UPRT Solutions Advisor

Location: APS Headquarters - Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA), Mesa, Arizona

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission

Professional Profile

Highly experienced pilot and aviation sales leader with a proven record of owning revenue, closing complex deals, and originating net-new business across corporate and executive flight departments, government aviation, and professional flight operations. Operates at peer level with Chief Pilots, Directors of Safety, and senior aviation leadership. Prepared to deliver measurable results within the first 30 days.

Core Capabilities

  2. Revenue Ownership & Sales Performance: Documented success meeting or exceeding defined sales targets with full-cycle deal ownership, forecast accuracy, and disciplined execution.
  3. Industry Connectivity & Credibility: Established relationships within corporate and executive flight departments and related aviation safety and training ecosystems.
  4. Professional Pilot & Aviation Credibility: Experienced professional pilot with strong operational credibility and peer-level engagement capability with pilots, Chief Pilots, Safety Managers, and aviation executives.
  5. Safety Risk Management & Consultative Selling: Familiar with ICAO Doc 9859 and FAA Part 5 SMS frameworks and able to align UPRT solutions to operator safety risk management objectives.
  6. Sales Systems Discipline: Experienced with HubSpot Enterprise CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Familiarity with PandaDoc is beneficial but secondary.

Role Overview

This is an in-person, office-based role at APS headquarters during onboarding and initial performance ramp. After sustained sales performance is demonstrated, the role may transition to a hybrid schedule. Hybrid eligibility is performance-based, reviewed quarterly, and not guaranteed.

The role directly supports APS's mission by expanding access to proven, life-saving Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) across business aviation, government, and professional flight operations.
