Position Description- Manage multiple projects overseeing scheduling, budget, change orders, billing, POs, contracts, warranty requests and ensuring client satisfaction
- Partner with Drafting Contact to ensure accurate drawings, including revisions
- Oversee Project Coordinator and Superintendents on assigned projects
- Manage our field technologies and control programs (KeyStyle, Project Site, QAQC, JHA, etc.) on jobs and teach others how to utilize our technologies
- Responsible for managing projects from start to finish
- Promote a safe work environment for field personnel
- Complete cost/budget analysis of assigned projects
- Job production tracking, time and material costs
- Attend job site meetings/pre-job meetings
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Help to hire, train and review Project Coordinators
- Help train and mentor new team members on Chamberlin culture and processes (soft and hard skills)
- Assisting other team members in work production
- Approve jobs for invoicing
- Job site visits and Ensure QA/QC
- Job issue and conflict resolution
- Manage team members to process submittals & RFIs
- Conduct or assist in the review process for Project Management team members
- Other tasks as may be assigned/required
Position Requirements- Experience: 2+ years' experience at the Project Manager position
- Skills: English speaking, bilingual preferred
- Abilities/Requirements:
- Specific examples of developing and mentoring other team members
- Comprehension of construction contracts, billings, submittals, RFI's, lien waivers and insurance with a proven ability to effective work with customers on achieving win-wins in any situation (change orders, scope gaps, etc.)
- Expertise with all aspects of commercial systems and applications
- Proven ability to self-manage and problem solve.
- Proven ability to effectively interact and work with team members and operations on projects
- Proven ability to mentor new team members on Chamberlin culture and processes
- Ability to train and help develop other team members
- Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and more when necessary
- Must be able to work outside when necessary and meet the physical requirements of the job
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA 30 certified
- Ability to read construction documents
Education RequiredHigh school diploma or GED; Four-year college degree preferred
