At Providence Medford Medical Center, the Clinical Education team supports:
- New graduate nurse residency programs
- New caregiver onboarding and orientation
- Annual competency validation
- Clinical practice changes and implementation
- Quality and patient safety initiatives
- Regulatory and accreditation readiness
- Ongoing education for nursing and interdisciplinary caregivers
The Senior Manager of Clinical Education also serves as a key partner with Clinical Education leaders across Oregon and collaborates with education leaders across the division. This partnership allows Providence Medford Medical Center to leverage shared educational resources, standardized curricula, best practices, and subject matter expertise developed across the region and division. This position helps ensure local needs are represented while reducing duplication of work and maximizing the value of educational investments.
Additional Information from Job Description:The Senior Manager Clinical Education RN is a professional Registered Nurse who assumes primary responsibility for managing and coordinating clinical educational and practice related activities for the Service Area and for supervising assigned caregivers at all ministries. Works collaboratively with system, divisional, and ministry operational leaders, interdisciplinary stakeholders, and clinical education caregivers to support system, divisional and service area strategic initiatives and goals.
Required qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; graduate of an accredited school.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Education.
- Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
- 5 years experience in related nursing field.
- 3 years experience in nursing clinical education and staff development.
- 5 years experience in a nursing management/leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:- Upon hire: Participation in professional organizations
- Upon hire: Certification in administration or clinical area of expertise

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
