What You'll Be Doing
  • Participates in the review, design, implementation, and communication of broad-based compensation programs for a large business group in Thermo Fisher Scientific.
  • Provides recommendations that will enhance the company's ability to attract, motivate, and retain talents across the world.
  • Works together with the team to support the develop innovative programs where appropriate to deliver a continuous improvement in our colleagues' experience with Total Rewards.
  • Assesses competitive market practices and organizational market positioning to recommend cost-competitive compensation proposals aligned with business objectives, using advanced Excel financial models, Power BI, and statistical analysis programs and develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Manages implementation of the annual total compensation planning process for assigned organizations in close coordination with functional leaders, human resource teams, and managers.
  • Develop strong analytical data on internal compensation issues and practices in collaboration with HR Business Partners to make recommendations.
  • Participates and support in the design, development and delivery of corporate compensation programs and initiatives by providing consultation along with research and analytical support.
  • Acts as a project member on various compensation projects.
  • Develops metrics and analytics to inform HR leadership on compensation programs to inform and influence decision-making through timely, accurate analytics and data-driven business recommendations.

  • Proven expertise in compensation analysis, market benchmarking, total rewards program design, and compensation planning.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, formulas, analytics, dashboards, and data visualization.
  • Experience utilizing Power BI and statistical analysis tools to develop actionable business insights.
  • Experience developing financial models and translating complex data into business recommendations.
  • Knowledge of Workday is preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, interpret data, and influence decision-making.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse global teams and business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • Support merger and acquisition integrations.
  • Willingness to work flexibly across international time zones.
