About the JobTapcheck is scaling rapidly, and our go-to-market teams need to move faster and smarter to keep pace. As our Senior Revenue Enablement Manager, you'll own enablement across the full Revenue org - BDRs, Account Executives, CSMs/AMs, and Channel AEs - reporting directly to our VP of Revenue Operations.
This is a hands-on, coaching-heavy seat built for someone who has sold and managed before, not someone who only teaches sales theory. You'll spend real time in Gong listening to calls, turning what you hear into playbooks and individual coaching plans, and working directly with reps to sharpen how they actually run a conversation. You're a builder who's comfortable running enablement without a large team behind you and confident enough to hold your own with execs.
What You'll DoCoaching & Development- Spend roughly 5-6 hours a week in Gong reviewing Account Executive calls, translating patterns into coaching plans and playbooks
- Deliver individual coaching plans and real-time kudos to a dedicated group of AEs based on call review
- Translate the "art" and "science" of selling into concrete, teachable behaviors reps can apply on their next call
- Build and continuously refine sales methodology and messaging that reps actually use, not shelfware
Enablement Strategy & Program Building- Build enablement programs across the full Revenue org - BDRs, AEs, CSMs/AMs, and Channel AEs - from onboarding through ongoing skill development
- Design and implement onboarding for new sales hires, including a standardized certification process others can run without you
- Stand up a recurring training cadence - group, cohort-based, or hybrid - and evolve it based on what's working
- Define the leveling path for reps moving from SMB to Mid-Market to Enterprise, and the skills that get them there
Content & Cross-Functional Partnership- Partner with Product Marketing to ingest their product and competitive content and translate it into sales playbooks, battle cards, and coaching - you're the translator, not the source
- Close the feedback loop back to Marketing and Product as the person with the most call exposure - surfacing what reps need to be dangerous that they don't have today
- Support recurring program asks like referral and reference programs
Tools & Future State- Operate day-to-day in Gong and Salesforce - Tapcheck doesn't yet have a dedicated enablement platform, so you'll build effective programs without one while helping define what's next
- Identify and evaluate the AI and sales tools the Revenue team needs for the future
- Bring a grounded point of view on what's worth building or buying next as the function matures
What You've DoneRequired- Spent 7-10 years in B2B SaaS or fintech sales and sales enablement, ideally starting as a quota-carrying rep before moving into enablement
- Managed and coached a team of reps directly - for example, as a BDR/SDR Manager or similar - before moving into an enablement-focused role
- Coached individual reps using call review (Gong or similar) to translate patterns into concrete, actionable feedback
- Built certification, onboarding, or training programs from scratch in an organization without an established enablement function
- Operated as a team of one, or close to it - comfortable building and running enablement without a large team behind you
- Partnered cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales leadership, translating content into field-ready coaching and messaging
- Communicated confidently with senior executives and used that access effectively, without being intimidated by the room
Preferred- Sold to HR, Payroll, or benefits buyers
- Familiar with modern sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, or Command of the Message
- Deep hands-on experience specifically in Gong and Salesforce
- Defined a rep leveling or career path (e.g., SMB 12 Mid-Market 12 Enterprise)
- Experience evaluating AI-powered sales or coaching tools
