Full Job Description
Requisition Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the team responsible for the consolidation of PACCAR Inc's global financial results and forecasts as well as preparing both internal and external financial statements.

Responsibilities include maintaining the consolidation system, preparing and analyzing financial data and managing government reporting. This person will also contribute to process improvements and participate in the execution of the SOX program for Corporate Accounting. This position reports to the Consolidations Accounting Manager.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end financial results and forecast consolidation process, including preparing consolidation journal entries, compiling and analyzing financial statements and preparing reconciliations
  • Perform ongoing maintenance / testing/ upgrades of consolidation software
  • Compile, analyze and review financial data for government reporting
  • Prepare financial data and analysis for Senior Accounting Management
  • Assist with the preparation of the Company's SEC Forms 10-K and 10-Q's
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the quarterly review process and annual audit
  • Complete Sarbanes-Oxley testing and documentation
  • Various process I system implementation projects and special analysis as assigned


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and other data analytics tools
  • BFC (BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation), SAP or other top tier consolidation software experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and accounting skills
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to issue resolution.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
  • CPA and advanced degree preferred
  • Public accounting and industry experience with multinational publicly traded companies preferred

Additional Job Board Information

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is $77,700 - $116,200 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
