Senior Relationship Manager - Relationship Excellence

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Relationship Excellence (RE)
  • Ensure the delivery of relationship excellence to a designated client base.
  • Develop effective and strategic relationships with the most senior levels of client organizations to ensure satisfaction with current BBH products and services while maximizing profitability and increasing product breadth.
  • Monitor operational issues and follow through on effective problem resolution through deep collaboration with across the BBH organization.

Business Development
  • Responsible for increasing relationship penetration by selling existing and new products across the client portfolio.
  • Adopt and embed BBH's relationship management philosophy to drive insight-led selling.
  • Delivers new revenue objectives from existing clients based on strong commercial insights on trends in the industry, regulatory changes and client investment strategy.
  • Translate & customize key market, strategy and regulation messaging for the client, to generate insights and opportunities to demonstrate BBH value
  • Integrate product, market and client insights to drive competitive differentiation.
  • Lead and/or contribute pro-actively to deal teams to ensure effective integration of client insights into client plans and relevant marketing materials
  • Identify and coordinate innovative and integrated solutions to address clients' strategic challenges using multiple BBH products and services.
  • Maintain strong visibility in industry and market - strengthen BBH brand by expanding personal and BBH network

Risk Management
  • Ensures the achievement of bi-directional trust with our clients.
  • Collaborates with our risk & compliance functions to ensure regulatory and Firm requirements are fulfilled.

Coaching/Staff Supervision
  • May manage a small team of analysts. This involves assigning/reviewing work, conducting performance reviews, and providing developmental opportunities through coaching and training

Experience required
  • Strong understanding and network within ETF and / or Alternative fund servicing market.
  • Excellent client-facing skills and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and other external market forces impacting the asset management and financial institution industries
  • Consultative, strategic relationship management & sales experience, approach and methodology
  • A credible executive able to gain the confidence and trust at the highest levels within our industry
  • Promotes desired culture and associated best practices
  • Ability to successfully operate within a team
  • Experience and evidence of executing an Insight-Led Sales Strategy
  • Experience of deploying technology to support sales activity (including CRM and knowledge management tools)

Knowledge and skills:
  • Communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills and excellent writing ability (writing sample required)
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Professional business acumen; Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels, both internally and externally to BBH
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to see open issues to resolution

Other requirements:
  • Foreign language abilities and knowledge of foreign markets are desirable
  • Travel is required


Salary Range

NY: $175,000 - $245,000 + annual target bonus

MA: $175,000 - $245,000 + annual target bonus

The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
