Full Job Description
As Regional Sales & Marketing Manager, Southern, you will oversee retail operations in the South Carolina market while leading Market Teams across the Southeast, Gulf States, and Appalachian markets. You will drive sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction by setting market objectives, mentoring Market Managers, and partnering closely with Volvo Cars USA's Southern Region leadership. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a proven ability to achieve ambitious sales targets while strengthening retailer performance and customer loyalty.

What you'll do

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Achieve Market Targets and Objectives for the following: New Retail, New Lease, CPO and Pre-Owned Volvo penetrations, VIP assurance products, Excess Wear & Use. These are Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Targets.
  • Assist in the development of performance targets for Southern Region retailers and Market Teams
  • Lead the Market Managers for the Southeast, Gulf States, and Appalachian markets
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the market teams
  • Participate in monthly and annual planning sessions on sales, incentives and financials
  • Coordinate with VCFS Management on retailer meetings and deliver messaging to retailers as needed
  • Work with and provide guidance to Retailer Principal and Retailer Management to achieve Retailer and VCFS combined objectives. Develop improvement plans as needed where shortfalls are identified.
  • Manage and prioritize Market Teams activities to align penetration objectives.
  • Monitor and address work to improve Retailer Customer Satisfaction Processes, and if needed address and resolve cases of extreme customer dissatisfaction.
  • Act as VCFS point of contact for Volvo Cars USA's Southern Region Management
  • Manage market implementation of VCFS sales and marketing plans and programs, activities, standards, support, tools, and training.
  • Provide market input on credit and funding standards, procedures, and strategies.
  • Coordinate with JM&A field representatives on retailer meeting and deliver messaging to retailers as needed
  • Monitor Retailer and Market Team performance against Annual Business Plan and objectives and take corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Define Retailer improvement programs based on targets and objectives.

  • Broad knowledge of Financial Services, Retail Sales, Business Management and Marketing experience, which is usually acquired through a combination of education (bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience), preferred master's degree, and at least 10-15 years of Business Management experience.
