Responsibilities

Are you an experienced maintenance leader with a passion for operational excellence? Related Affordable is seeking a Senior Regional Maintenance Supervisor (multi-site) to provide leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on support across a portfolio of residential communities in Denver, Colorado.

In this role, you will serve as a senior maintenance resource for the region, partnering with Regional Facilities Management, Regional Managers, Community Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and vendor partners to ensure our communities operate at the highest standards of safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction. You will play a critical role in preparing properties for inspections, supporting sites with staffing challenges, mentoring maintenance teams, and leading projects throughout the portfolio.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations across the portfolio including work orders, turns, preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency response.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and supervision to all maintenance staff, including weekly work schedules, repairs, and vendor management.
  • Lead and participate in HUD REAC/ NSPIRE inspection preparation efforts in partnership with Regional Facilities Management, Community Managers, site teams, vendor partners and complete work side by side with site staff.
  • Conduct property assessments and identify operational, maintenance, safety, and compliance concerns, providing recommendations and action plans for resolution.
  • Mentor and develop Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians by providing coaching, training, and best practices to improve performance and consistency across the portfolio.
  • Assist with capital improvement projects and property rehab unit punch list efforts as needed.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as directed by Senior Leadership and Regional Facility Management.

Anticipated salary range:
  • $90,000 - $105,000 USD per year
  • Annual Performance Bonus
  • This position is exempt, meaning ineligible for overtime pay

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate's background and the requirements of the position.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of general maintenance experience in multifamily housing, affordable housing, commercial facilities, or a related industry and 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of affordable housing operations and extensive experience preparing properties for HUD REAC and NSPIRE inspections.
  • Experience supporting multiple properties and geographically dispersed teams preferred.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments across a regional portfolio and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
