Full Job Description
The Role

EnerMech is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our Americas HR team in Houston. This is a hands-on recruitment role supporting the delivery of technical, operational and project-based talent across our growing US business.

You will partner closely with hiring managers and operational teams to understand workforce requirements, proactively source talent and manage recruitment from initial requirement through to offer and mobilisation.

The role will have a strong focus on recruiting technical personnel across the energy sector, including oil & gas, LNG, pre-commissioning, maintenance, turnarounds and related industrial services. There will also be the need to work on more corporate-type roles within finance, Business Development, HSE etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate, technical, operational and project-based positions across the US.
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Workable, AI-enabled sourcing tools, talent pools and direct market mapping.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for critical and recurring skills, reducing reliance on reactive recruitment.
  • Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to gain early visibility of upcoming projects and workforce requirements.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill and niche technical positions.
  • Utilise our existing candidate database and talent pools to quickly identify suitable talent.
  • Conduct candidate screening and interviews, providing clear recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Manage job advertising, candidate attraction and targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment activity and candidate information within the ATS.
  • Monitor recruitment pipelines, time-to-fill and sourcing effectiveness and adjust sourcing activity where required.
  • Support high-volume project mobilisation activity when required.
  • Deliver a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Senior Recruiter, ideally within oil & gas, LNG, energy, industrial services, engineering or a similar technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Houston and US Gulf Coast talent market.
  • Demonstrated experience directly sourcing technical and operational candidates rather than relying primarily on applications or agencies.
  • Confident user of LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms and modern sourcing technology.
  • Comfortable using AI and technology to improve candidate identification, outreach and recruitment efficiency.
  • Experience recruiting project-based, contract and permanent personnel.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly and be able to influence operational and technical hiring managers.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing project requirements.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Diversity & Inclusion
EnerMech is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
