RESPONSIBILITIES:- Design track and railway infrastructure in accordance with applicable regulations, laws and standards
- Participate in the design and construction of projects
- Lead and assist with the preparation of proposals, design packages, and tender documentation
- Utilize rail experience to mentor junior and intermediate engineers on rail design
- Work collaboratively with project managers and multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams
- Act as licensed engineer in responsible charge for the company's Oklahoma Certificate of Authorization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Civil or Rail Engineering from an accredited University
- Registered professional engineer in Oklahoma. Registration in other states is considered an asset
- 10+ years of experience on civil earthworks projects
- 10+ years of experience in design of track and railway infrastructure
- Experience in the design of crossings
- Working knowledge of AREMA Standards
- Familiar with industrial track standards
- Certification in track inspection would be considered an asset
- Ability to utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiently would be considered an asset
