What You Will Do:
The Senior Quality Engineer will support final assembly and test operations across engine assembly programs by providing clear specification interpretation, timely process approvals, and rapid response to inspector questions and and on events.
The Senior Quality Engineer will monitor and analyze nonconformance trends to drive effective corrective action planning and execution, including active leadership of the Corrective Action Board (CAB). Serve as a quality representative on the Material Review Board (MRB) to support disposition and review activities.
Continuously improve assembly, inspection, and test processes to prevent defects and enhance product quality. Reduce scrap, rework, and repair (SRR) costs through targeted process monitoring, datadriven improvements, and crossfunctional collaboration.
Participate in quality and technical investigations, supporting population bounding, risk assessment, and immediate containment actions. Provide escape management support within the Quality Clinic to ensure robust investigation and closure.
Reduce customer escapes by identifying systemic nonconformance drivers and implementing mistakeproofing solutions. Partner closely with process engineering and cell leads to strengthen quality signatures and reinforce customer confidence.
Support internal and thirdparty audit activities as needed.
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness by utilizing Customer Orientated Results and Excellence (CORE) tools.
Adapt to shifting priorities and perform additional related duties as assigned. Success in this role requires strong flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to balance and resolve competing demands in a dynamic production environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree and minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, assembly, and/or aerospace OR a Masters degree and minimum 3 years of related experience
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Experience with SAP and Solumina
Experience working with RCCA tools

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
