Full Job Description
Amphenol Pcd is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Beverly, MA. This is a highly customer-focused role requiring strong leadership and collaboration skills to manage quality assurance processes across all stages of production. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate the Escape Management Process, identifying systemic root causes and ensuring implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Facilitate and coach cross-functional problem resolution teams for product escapes and organizational challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships across departments, customers, suppliers, and leverage enterprise-wide problem-solving.
  • Manage, track, and ensure timely completion of RMAs.
  • Generate and present quality metrics to management, lead quality improvement programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement using data and KPIs.
  • Provide technical support and maintain close collaboration with operations.
  • Investigate and resolve hardware/assembly concerns impacting quality and delivery, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Build cross-departmental relationships to effectively communicate part status and quality concerns.
  • Manage MRB (Material Review Board) parts processing and documentation.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action) tools and ability to drive systemic corrective actions.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data to support teams.
  • Experience managing Quality Management Systems and using MRP/ERP systems.
  • Resilient and solutions-oriented when dealing with complex quality challenges.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, customers, and government agencies.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, and ISO.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent preferred.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Physical Sciences, Manufacturing, Quality).

Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering, with at least 3 years in the aerospace industry.

The annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. PCD considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Due to the nature of our business, the candidate must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship. Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).
