In this role, you will be responsible for effective planning, executing, automating and tracking functional tests In the ARCHER portfolio - maintenance releases or projects.

What will you do?
  • Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User Stories
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools
  • Execute test cases (manual/automated) document test results and raise defects whenever necessary.
  • Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like, Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings
  • Participate E2E and integration testing
  • Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings
  • Demonstrated experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of software debugging methodologies
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and security
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 2+ years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (functional, business workflows, APIs, databases).
  • In depth experience in Python programming languages (Python.)
  • Experience with test automation frameworks/programming language e.g., (Pytest Framework, Python API , Selenium, Data frame)
  • Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing, development and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases, executing manual/automated test cases
  • Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands on experience on JIRA and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as GIT, Git on Action
  • Database technologies (e.g. SQL, Postgres) and SQL experience.
