The RoleAs Senior QA Engineer for a new product within Veeva, you will be a founding member of a team building our next major AI-driven platform - one that will transform how Life Sciences companies manage safety, regulatory, and clinical development. The team will be AI-first in two meaningful ways: using AI to drive engineering productivity and strong engineering discipline, and building a product that applies AI in genuinely innovative ways to problems that matter.
You'll have significant ownership over the QA process, documentation and tools in a startup-like setting. This role is for a hands-on, self-starter who thrives on balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
Within your first 3 months, you will have live customers on the platform and a thriving, growing team behind it - directly accelerating how customers bring life-saving products to market.
What You'll Do - Implement the AI based QA process. You will work closely with engineers and production operations to establish the QA process for Falcon
- Own platform test automation. You will develop and maintain automated test-cases for the Falcon platform
- Support Releases. You will partner with engineering and production operations to assist with the process and documentation to ensure smooth releases
- Maintain test environments and integrations. In partnership with engineering, you will help to maintain the test environments and integrations for Falcon
Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on experience in a QA role, with a strong focus on automation, tooling, and process oversight
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated test suites covering sanity, boundary, negative, concurrency, and compatibility scenarios
- Programming Skills: You have extensive experience in a programming language like Python, TypeScript or Java
- Strong technical background in Unix/Linux command-line environments for log analysis and backend debugging
- Proficiency with SQL for database querying and data validation
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have - Experience utilizing AI testing tools, prompt engineering for test-case generation, LLM output evaluation, or generative AI to optimize testing workflows
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch)
- Knowledge of artifact management solutions (Nexus, ECR)
- Familiarity with code validation and linting tools (Sonar)

Compensation - Base pay: $80,000 - $150,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
