Senior QA Engineer
Lead II - Software Testing
You Are:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual and API/UI testing, test planning, Azure DevOps (ADO), Cosmos DB, SQL, Git branching strategies, and Azure Application Insights.
The opportunity:
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Execute API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or REST clients.
• Perform UI testing across web applications to validate functionality and user experience.
• Validate data using Cosmos DB and write SQL queries for backend verification.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, defect tracking, sprint planning, and release validation.
• Validate CI/CD pipeline executions and support deployment verification.
• Monitor application behavior using Azure Application Insights to identify issues and validate application performance

What you need:
• Experience: 10 + Years
o 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
o Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
o Hands-on experience with Cosmos DB.
o Strong knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
o Experience validating CI/CD pipeline execution.
o Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Execution.
o Strong understanding of Git branching and version control.
o Experience using Azure Application Insights for monitoring and troubleshooting.
o Hands-on experience with API Testing (REST APIs, Postman, Swagger).
o Strong experience in UI Testing of web applications.
o Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
o Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Washington
Compensation Range: $78,000-$117,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
