Wood is recruiting for a Proposal Coordinator to join its Projects business focusing on delivering major global initiatives across energy, chemicals and life sciences sectors. This opportunity is Hybrid. #LI-Hybrid The Role Wood is currently seeking a motivated Senior Proposal Coordinator with experience in the Engineering and Construction industry to join our office in Texas or South Carolina- US. The successful candidate will work with technical staff to develop winning proposals from small to large Engineering, Construction and full EPC contracts/projects. The Proposal Coordinator will interact with senior staff, project managers, subcontractors, and other proposal staff to gather, organize and synthesize material necessary for developing proposals, and marketing material as needed. Expected: 3 Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism or similarly relevant degree 3 7+ years of proposal experience 3 Preferred experience in the following markets: Specialty Chemicals, Power, Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical and Forest industries 3 Ability to understand a diverse range of technical information enough to relate past project information to subject requirements 3 Excellent writing ability, and a true passion for writing 3 Ability to manage various projects simultaneously, with strict deadlines 3 Ability to work independently with little direct supervision 3 Good written and verbal communication skills 3 Ability to clearly and concisely express requirements, goals, and related deadlines to a diverse group of technical and non-technical personnel Desirable: 3 Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required; Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is desired
