Job Description:The Senior Project Planner will play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects, responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing potential risks, and providing insights to drive decision-making. This individual will serve as a pivotal point of contact for project reporting and planning, contributing to the efficient execution of company objectives.
Key Accountabilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using designated planning tools.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring alignment with planned milestones and project goals.
- Analyze and identify risks, delays, or challenges that may impact project execution, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate schedules and ensure resource availability.
- Prepare and present accurate project reports, detailing progress, risks, and variances to stakeholders and management.
- Continuously evaluate scheduling metrics to improve processes and enhance forecasting accuracy.
Key Requirements:- Strong proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Demonstrated experience in project planning within an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting complex data to forecast project outcomes.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field required.
- Certification in project planning and scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in planning large-scale projects within a matrix organizational framework.
- Background in risk management or control systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of analytics and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in additional languages will be considered an advantage.
Total Compensation Range (Base Salary + Annual Incentive plan) : $119,732 -$151,559
