The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Program/Project Operations Manager (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Navy Acquisition management, extensive experience in managing DoDIIS communication systems and networks, and a proven track record in project management, systems engineering, and financial management.

Responsibilities:

Program Management:

Lead and manage complex defense acquisition programs from inception through delivery.

Develop and execute program plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition policies and procedures.

Technical Direction:

Provide technical direction and oversight for the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding of DoDIIS communication systems and networks.

Maintain alignment with broad program objectives and technical requirements.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a diverse team of professionals, including project managers, and task order leads.

Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication:

Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and end-users.

Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program execution.

Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential issues.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure all program activities comply with DoD 5000 series requirements and other relevant regulations.

Maintain thorough documentation of project processes, decisions, and outcomes.

Qualifications:
Required:

BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Engineering, or a related Engineering Discipline is desired.

At least ten (10) years of professional experience in Defense acquisition.

Four (4) of the required ten (10) years of experience must be in support of Navy Acquisition management, or an equal level of Federal and Navy Contract Management experience.

Management and Supervision experience relating to the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding of DoDIIS communication systems and networks.

Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to communication systems and networks.

Knowledgeable of DoD acquisition policies and procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DoD 5000 series.

Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management.

Experience managing complex programs, coordinating teams, handling risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and maintaining stakeholder communication.

CISSP or CASP Certifications

$109,800 - $241,600
