Job Description
CDM Smith currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with previous experience managing transportation design projects to join and help lead our growing Indiana Transportation group. In this position, you will manage complex transportation projects for major transportation agencies. You will lead multi-disciplined project teams, manage and deliver complex transportation design projects, develop the scope and budget for new project pursuits, assist with marketing and business development activities, and serve as a leader in our Transportation Group.

As a leader in our program, you will serve our clients and deliver on exciting opportunities by:
• Serving as the Senior Project Manager for design projects in our transportation program.
• Working with current staff to enhance our transportation services capabilities.
• Mentoring staff and helping to expand our transportation design practice.
• Leading the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and monitoring and controlling project performance.
• Performing Quality Control/Quality Assurance of key deliverables related to transportation projects managed by others. • Implementing CDM Smith's quality procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assisting with marketing and business development efforts to further expand our client base and project opportunities with Indiana regional transportation agencies.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. • Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, transportation engineering, or related degree.
• PE license in IN.
• Previous experience managing transportation projects for INDOT.
• Previous experience assisting with the proposal process and presenting/meeting with transportation clients.
• Strong experience meeting and working with Indiana agencies, cities, and municipalities.

Pay Range Min
USD $115,211.00
Pay Range Max
USD $201,635.00
Additional Pay Range Information
CDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for the geographic location assigned to the position. In addition to geographic location, a candidate's salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.
Additional Compensation
All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
