The Senior SAP Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex SAP projects, ensuring alignment to scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations. This role provides strategic leadership across cross-functional teams, manages stakeholder relationships, and drives successful project outcomes through disciplined planning, proactive risk management, and clear communication. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP project leadership experience, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to guide teams through full lifecycle implementations in fast-paced consulting environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of SAP implementation projects.
- Define project objectives, scope, timelines, resources, and delivery approach in alignment with client and business goals.
- Manage cross-functional project teams and provide direction to support timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including client leadership and project sponsors.
- Communicate project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies clearly and consistently to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify scope changes and work with stakeholders to assess impacts to budget, timeline, and resources.
- Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actuals against estimates.
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation and contingency plans as needed.
- Escalate issues promptly and drive resolution to minimize project impact.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance standards, and delivery best practices.
- Coach and support team members to foster accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Capture and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement and knowledge management.
- Drive successful project closure, including completion of deliverables, stakeholder sign-off, and transition as required.
- Support customer satisfaction and contribute to the development of long-term client relationships and referenceability.
Required Qualifications- 8+ years of project management experience within the SAP ecosystem.
- Proven success managing complex SAP projects, including 5 or more full lifecycle implementations.
- 5+ years of client management experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Hands-on functional experience in one or more SAP modules.
- Strong experience managing project scope, budget, schedule, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability across project workstreams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in the United States and/or Canada.

Preferred Qualifications- Consulting experience in SAP project delivery.
- Experience as a functional consultant in one or more SAP modules.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
- Experience supporting customer success stories, references, or post-project relationship management.
- An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.
Education & Certifications- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Additional SAP-related certifications are an asset.
