Provide overall management across multiple concurrently running structural steel projects, leading customer engagement, drawings and engineering approvals, project scheduling, and budget management from pre-construction through project completion. Maintain strong client relationships and make strategic decisions impacting corporate profitability and ongoing client partnerships. Act independently with proven industry judgment and high autonomy.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Customer & Client Engagement: Cultivate strong client relations, manage expectations, and act as the primary point of contact across all assigned active projects.
  • Engineering & Drawings Approvals: Oversee and expedite the approval process for shop drawings, submittals, and engineering RFIs to maintain critical project timelines.

  • Contracts & Financial Controls: Negotiate, award, execute, and enforce subcontracts; perform continuous cost-to-complete reviews with Superintendents to ensure profitability within approved budgets.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Verify full compliance with bond, insurance, and safety regulations across all assigned accounts.
  • Subcontractor & Team Leadership: Maintain strong subcontractor relationships, facilitate conflict resolution, and coordinate internal office department support to meet project milestones.
  • Close-Out: Ensure timely completion of projects ran through fabrication and field support.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: 4-year construction management, engineering, or related technical degree (or equivalent field experience).
  • Experience: 1-3 years of proven construction project management experience, specifically overseeing multi-project portfolios, submittals/drawings, budgets, and scheduling.
  • Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to apply innovative management techniques, drive team performance, and manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of structural steel fabrication/erection, construction standards, design processes, and financial controls.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus based on company and project performance
  • Benefits: Full health, retirement, and supplemental benefits (details available on the Careers tab of our website)
