Full Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE

The Senior Project Manager SDP & Construction is responsible for the build out of our boutiques in the US and Canada. The Senior Project Manager leads and coordinates with our internal design team consultants and contractors from the feasibility study phase, schematic and design development phases through the execution and tender phase to the final construction and turnover.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and coordinate all architectural and construction activities related to the renovation and creation of a new boutique.
  • Work with the internal teams and our international Store Design Planning (SDP) to develop feasibility studies, evaluation of potential locations.
  • Responsible for project management of 2-3 construction projects per year in the US and Canada including flagship locations.
  • Review all construction cost estimates with AVP of SDP and work closely with cost control manager to ensure all construction and renovation budgets are up to date.
  • Coordinate with all internal departments in a timely manner to drive successful project execution that supports business needs.
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of owner supplied items.
  • Work with the legal department for the review of the design and construction related leases exhibits as well as the contracts with our consultants and general contractors.
  • Lead and coordination of the schematic phase between International SDP and the local retail team.
  • Lead and coordination of the Design Development phase work closely with the architect to further develop the design and coordinating with the required consultants.
  • Lead and coordination of the Execution Phase work closely with the architect of record to complete the final CD set with the MEP, Structural and other consultants, work with the team for permitting.
  • Lead the tender phase with the architect and or QS consultant. Review scope of work with bidding GC and millworkers,
  • Responsible for the cost tracking of the project. Process invoices and work together with AP for reconciliations in regular basis.
  • Responsible for the turnover to retail and follow up and completion of all items on the punch list.
  • Potential: Manager of people depending on structural needs and workload.
  • Frequent travel required - Up to 30%

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture Required.


Required Experience
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in luxury retail construction and project management experience.
  • Inhouse project management experience preferred.
  • Experience in full scope retail construction projects.


Technical Skills/Abilities

  • Fluent in AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe CS and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication skills in verbal, and written format.
  • Additional language fluency is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of store planning and construction methods


Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000
